First Core
You start with Use Case Development and Feature Development. Believe me, you can just be a master in these two things.
You transition to working on Problems. Here you do UCD and FD, but start understanding context.
You start
thinking now. Which results in something like
this in the future.
You start aiming and that is called Outcome Mapping
You start succeeding and that is through Product Strategy
Second Core
But organizations don't just succeed by implementing the First Core.
You need to think from Opportunities Your Space Suggests. Mainly the leadership is looking at these.
You need to build its muscle, that is called Theory of Opportunity.
You can also go Deeper in Problems.
Within the opportunity, there is the best opportunity, you work on that.
An example could be talking to High Ticket Clients for Branched Use Cases
You may find some incredible Heavy Use Cases. Work on them later.
You suggest monetize-able specifications called Developing New Cheese.
All this great work leads to a mess and under analyzed areas.
Your path to exit the Second Core is either a Conceptual Positioning Change or New Product Lines.
Third Core
Not explained but they are Embracing Marketing and doing Opportunity Mapping
After which you should push your leadership journey by studying the Management Fundamentals.
